Audit Binder & Student Snapshots

One-click compliance packet per student, and expiring read-only snapshot links for colleagues.

The audit binder

  1. On any student's profile, click "Audit binder" (top right). Melaa assembles every dated record it holds into one printable file.
  2. Inside: identification & intake timeline, full score history with provenance (who entered what, and why), language-plan history with signatures, finalized family letters with their recorded delivery, review meetings with participants, accommodations, and the exit/monitoring record.
  3. Finalized letters attach in full as appendices. Print / Save PDF from the button in the corner.
  4. Use it for state program reviews, OCR requests, records transfers, and due-process preparation - each generation is itself audit-logged.

The binder reflects the live record at generation time. Keep filing per your district's records policy - Melaa doesn't replace your official student information system.

Share snapshots

  1. Next to "Download CAN DO report" on a student's profile, "Share snapshot" creates an expiring, revocable read-only link to a one-page language snapshot (levels, short CAN DO summary, active supports).
  2. Teachers have the same button on their dashboard - useful for handing a gen-ed co-teacher or sub exactly what they need without creating an account.
  3. Links expire (7/30/90 days), can be revoked instantly, and every view is recorded in your audit logs.
